At St. John's Starting October 1 we will move to one Sunday service at 9:00 am at St. John's in Southwest Harbor. On that day we will have a parish wide forum following the service about our future beyond this one year partnership with Church of our Father and St. Saviour's. We'd like to get your feedback and hear your thoughts and ideas, hopes and dreams for a sustainable and creative future for St. Andrew & St. John, and the Episcopal churches on MDI. Please join us!
Meditation on Tuesdays at 4:00. Please join us for 30 minutes of shared silence and "prayer of the heart," an ancient meditative practice of the Christian tradition. All are welcome! We meditate sitting on chairs, though if you prefer to sit on the floor, feel free to bring a mat or cushion. If you are new to meditation, have questions or concerns, or would like more information, please contact Mother Kathleen.

All are welcome! Please join us! Jean has a long history in Christian Education, most recently serving as Director of Christian Education at Trinity United Methodist Church in Gainesville, Florida. Jean, her husband, David, and their two sons have been coming to Mt. Desert Island for forty years. Carrying on the family tradition, Drew, Matt, and their families return each year to enjoy the natural beauty of MDI. The Evans have been part of the Church of Our Father congregation for the past thirty summers. For more than ten years, Jean has participated in a Bible study on MDI that she is now leading. She loves meeting and studying with others who are interested in learning and growing in the faith we all share.
