It is with great sadness that I inform you that Kathleen's father, William Bernard Killian, died peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2018.  Please pray for the repose of William Bernard Killian's soul.  Please pray for Kathleen and her family.   As scheduled, we will have a service at noon on Thursday, September 27, 2018.   If John Allison has not yet left the Island to be with Kathleen, we will have a regular service; otherwise we will have a morning prayer service.   The Rev. An extended Prelude by Cate and Jane Pope will begin about five minutes before the service. Please come early to settle in before the festivities begin. Stephen Sampson and Pamela Smith will also be providing special music.                                                                                                        Meditation on Tuesdays at 4:00 at St. John's. Please join us for 30 minutes of shared silence and "prayer of the heart," an ancient meditative practice of the Christian tradition. All are welcome! We meditate sitting on chairs, though if you prefer to sit on the floor, feel free to bring a mat or cushion.
