A Service of Evensong will be offered on November 3, All Saints Day, at 4:00 followed by a wine and cheese reception. All the choral music will be by living composers as a way of making this ancient and solemn liturgy relevant for us today.
Book Study -- The Education for Ministry group is inviting anyone who is interested to join them on Tuesdays, January 14 and 21 from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. to discuss two supplemental texts: Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth by Reza Aslan; and And God Spoke: The Authority of the Bible for the Church Today by Christopher Bryan. Books can be obtained from the bookstore or library. If there is sufficient interest, we may be able to order some copies for individuals or for sharing if you are willing to help pay for them. Eucharistic Visitor Training
November 16, 9:30 – 11:00 at St. Patrick’s, Brewer. Eucharistic Visitors are lay ministers licensed by the Bishop to take the consecrated Sacrament to members of the congregations who are unable to be present at the celebration of Holy Eucharist. The training will fully prepare candidates for licensing. There is no charge, but
