Summer Food/Fundraising Events Update

After talking with Becky Alley, the baker at the Farmers' Market, we've decided not to compete with her by selling pies on Fridays. So please buy a pie from Becky! So....we are planning at least one chowder/other lunch event in August, Peggy Engel (Thanks!) has great ideas for a Soup & Sandwich luncheon on Saturday, August 16, in conjunction with the Island Arts Association Craft Fair on Pemetic Green.  Please call Peggy at 244-5114) if you can help her. The previous Saturday, August 9, the second Art Show will be on the Green--who'd like to coordinate a luncheon on that day??  Give Joan a call, 244-3227.

These will be great times to welcome people to St. John's...!
