To Worship God and Help People - Southwest Harbor and Seal Cove, Maine
St. Andrew & St. John's, and St. Saviour's
Reminder: Clocks "Fall Back" THIS Sunday:
2 November
So many of you have asked for copies of the
Bishop's address from our Diocesan Convention last weekend,
I wanted to give you a handy link where you can read it, download it, and/or print it.
If you missed hearing it on Sunday, I especially encourage you to read it, and take heart and hope from his words.
And.... talk to me about trees! What shall we plant?
"If we are absolutely grounded in the absolute love of God...
then we can face all things with courage and tenderness"
-Thomas Merton
St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church will host its second annual Community of Hope Service on Sat., November 1, at 3 PM at 134 State Street in Ellsworth.
The event will include readings, music, and a time for reflection and sharing. The event will conclude with refreshments and late afternoon fare.
All are welcome to attend.
"As the Episcopal church in the Hancock County seat,
we feel a special obligation to hold this space of hope for the entire community," said the Rev. Deacon Tracy Shaffer.
