We had by that point understood that Hurricane Dorian was likely going to move north of Miami and that the larger danger might be to delay and be caught in weather as we headed down the coast. We are grateful that we were able to avoid the danger and destruction this storm continues to inflict and offer our prayers for those who are affected. We also want thank you all for the care and love you offered in saying farewell to us. We were deeply touched and want you to know that you--as well as our sisters and brothers in the other partnership parishes--hold a special place in our hearts. We remain united to you as members of the Body of Christ and continue on with you in prayer and witness. With gratitude and blessing, John+ and Kathleen+ Meditation on Tuesdays at 4:00 at St. John's. Please join us for 30 minutes of shared silence and "prayer of the heart," an ancient meditative practice of the Christian tradition. All are welcome!
