Yard Sale — Friday and Saturday, June 8 & 9 at St. Andrew. As you delve into your spring cleaning, please remember that we are seeking treasures for the 5th annual Yard Sale at St. Andrew's. The basement door is open so feel free to drop off your goodies when the spirit moves you. Please NO books, clothing, or electronics. The Reverend Susan Berry Taylor, working priest and artist, will be our facilitator. She will lead us in exploring our faith and spirituality though color, paint, and creative expression—no experience needed! The annual diocesan retreat is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life and be refreshed. This year, we'll use Celtic and Ignatian resources to help us connect with Christ in nature, scripture, community and the depths of our hearts. We'll seek to deepen our awareness of Jesus and open ourselves in generosity and compassion. Camp will open for recreation at 3PM Friday; Dinner will be at 6PM; Program begins at 7PM. The Retreat ends Sunday before lunch. Retreat cost (including 2 nights lodging, meals): For a shared cabin clustered around the bathhouse: $95. St. Mary & St. Jude: Puerto Rico Service Project – The Parish of St. Mary and St. Jude is making plans to lead an island-wide service trip to Puerto Rico to assist with Hurricane Maria recovery. The trip will include people of all ages and skill levels, and summer/shoulder parishioners are welcome to travel from home and join the team in Puerto Rico. The trip will take place next Fall/Winter, 2018/19.
