"The Pantry's help has been so important this winter. Thank you." I want us all to hear these words. It verifies what we who spend time with our neighbors on these Sundays during the winter already know--our help is needed and appreciated. When I contemplate the 1,373 vouchers that were each labeled by hand with a neighbor's name, I am aware of just how many contributions--1 voucher for every $10--it takes to sustain this work and to put caring into action each season. I wish that all who have donated to this work could know and feel what we who work closely on distribution Sundays know and feel--it really does matter. So, a look at the numbers. $13,730 worth of vouchers to 238 adults and 85 children representing 169 households. There were 2 new households registered comprised of 4 people. The Pantry will be open on Sunday, April 22, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. This will be the final day for the season. | | Services at the Partnership Parishes: St. Andrew & St. John Sundays—9:00 a.m. Eucharist at St. John the Divine Tuesdays — 4:00 pm–Meditation Thursdays—12:00 noon—Saint of the day & Healing Prayer Eucharist Church of Our Father Sundays—8:00 and 10:00 a.m.—Eucharist Wednesdays, 8:00 am—Eucharist.
