Friday Study Group led by Sarah Flynn and Julia Morris-Myers, Fridays from 12-1 in the Rectory Library. We are looking at Cynthia Bourgeault's The Wisdom Jesus. This book asks us to shed what we think we know about Jesus and look at him and his teachings with fresh eyes. The class will meet through May 31.
Natural Causes Killed Victor: The Opera: A middle-aged man; an ill, frail, quiet immigrant, imprisoned for a minor crime; a callous, avoidable death. Be a part of the presentation of this folk opera written by George Swanson. There are parts for young and old, male and female. Contact George Swanson at 244-0579 for audition times. World Premier is August 16 and 17 at St. Saviour’s.

Retirement Party: Sunday, May 26, will be The Rev. Patricia Robertson’s last Sunday. A party will be held for George and Patricia at the Neighborhood House from 3-5:00.

MDI Hospital Joins Jamie Oliver’s International Food Revolution
MDI Hospital is thrilled to announce our first ever Food Revolution Day event on Friday, May 17th with a Cooking Class & Open House at the Straus Center in Southwest Harbor. Our event kicks off our new childhood obesity prevention program designed to keep all of our island's children happy, engaged and healthy. Local chef Sam Keene will be donating his time to teach children and adults of all skill levels how to prepare a simple, delicious meal.
