The Vestry is supporting a Congregational Pastoral Care initiative in which members can learn how to provide spiritual companionship to each other in times of need. If you are interested in this new venture please come to a meeting with Deacon Jenny Reece on Tuesday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the St. Saviour's Rectory Library, or call her at 812-2365.
St. Mary’s and St. Jude’s:

The monthly Musical Evening will take place on Friday night, October 28, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. It will be hosted by Linda Lewis, at her home in Somesville (directions below). The gathered will sing some spirituals & gospel hymns, and then listen to a group of songs sung by Bonnie Hersey and accompanied by Stephen Sampson at the piano. The songs focus on the age-old theme of Love, and most are popular songs composed at about the turn of the last century (turn from 19th – 20th century). Bonnie will also sing a Renaissance Italian art song.
Directions to Linda's house: 16 Vista Way. Somesville.
Come up Beech Hill Road, and shortly after you pass Beech Hill Cutoff turn right onto Ripples Road. Next, take the first left onto Vista Way and continue around bearing left until you reach the first driveway on the left which is Linda Lewis's house. Please park out on the road as the driveway can be quite a bottleneck when more than four cars park there!
