Palm Sunday, March 28^th: Eucharist at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. George Swanson will be our celebrant.

Liturgy of the Palms: Psalm 118:1-2, 19-29; Luke 19:28-40

Liturgy of the Word: Psalm 31:9-16; Isaiah 50:4-9a; Philippians 2:5-11; Luke 23:1-49

 

LENTEN PRAYER - Join us for silent meditation and prayer from 7:00 to 7:30 on Thursday morning. Those who wish may stay for a light breakfast afterward.

 

Feast of the Annunciation: Thursday, March 25^th, Evensong at 6:00 p.m.

Organizational Meeting for the Quietside Fair – Saturday, March 27^th -- Join us this coming Saturday for an organizational meeting to plan the July 10^th QSF at St. John’s?  We will gather in the Undercroft at 8:15 a.m., and those who are able (and willing) are invited to gather for a cup of coffee etc. at Sips at 7:30 a.m.  In the coming weeks, please gather your thoughts on how we might make this fair more successful and easier to execute.

Easter Dinner Baskets – Help provide an Easter dinner for needy families in the area. Shopping List: Canned ham, canned green vegetables, canned fruit, cake mix and frosting, Easter Bunny, canned carrots, canned or boxed potatoes, stuffing mix, canned cranberry sauce, chicken broth, Jello. Place items in the back pew. If you would like to make a monetary donation, make your check out to “St. Saviour’s Parish”, note “Easter Dinner” and send to: St. Saviour’s Parish, 41 Mt. Desert St., Bar Harbor ME 04609.

 

Easter Flowers:   If you would like to make an offering for Easter flowers in memory of, in honor of, or in support of someone, please write the information on the clipboard available at St. John or contact Susan Buell or Ginny Agar.  Your donation may be given to Ginny or Susan, or sent to the church office.
