SWH Library Plant Sale:  Saturday, May 17, 8 a.m.-Noon, Pemetic Green.  Could you chair a simple fund-raiser for the church that morning--selling coffee/snacks etc.  It's one of our new ideas--maybe we can try it.   Call Joan (244-3227) or Chloe (244-4436, 244-3353) -- two bakers signed on already.  Thanks!

Al-Nakba Conference: The 1948 forced eviction of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and farms and its implications over 60 years will be the focus of an al-Nakba (Palestinian Catastrophe) conference in 302 Payson-Smith Hall, University of Southern Maine Portland campus, 96 Falmouth St. May 17-18. with films at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, talks at 6:30; films at 11 a.m. Sunday, talk at 12:30 p.m.  Maine Peace and Justice in Israel/Palestine is primary sponsor.  All are welcome. 797-1110 or 773-6562.
