Weekly News from the MDI Episcopal Partnership! This Week The Feast of the Epiphany 11am - St. Saviour's 4pm - St. John's And~~~ the TIME HAS COME! This Sunday the 12th is our final 4pm service at St John's in Southwest Harbor. Next week is our All-Island Worship at 10am at Church of Our Father, Hulls Cove. Then: SUNDAY, Jan. 26th Worship at 9 AM at St. John's followed by coffee and conversation! It's a CARD SHOWER!!!! Sunday, January 12th::: We will honor Debby Govenor at SASJ and thank her for her WONDERFUL musical gifts to us during our 4pm worship. Please be prepared to wish her well on her final Sunday (for now!) and bring a card if you like, containing a little thank you note, or a wee $gift perhaps, a favorite holiday recipe, or the deed to some real estate, or a picture you've drawn... She has been a great gift to us! (if you are away or out of town, you can mail your card in advance to "Shower! 26 High St, Bar Harbor 04609) Canoeing the Mountains conversation will meet at 9AM in person on Thursdays Jan 16th -30th with a final class Feb 13th. No class on Feb 6th.     Coming THIS WEEK, to a partnership church near you: LAUGHTER YOGA! It's Free! It's Fun! It's Evidence-Based! Wear anything- bring a friend! No yoga "postures", just laughter and breathing. Come to one class or all- each is freestanding. Stop in and try it AT NOON Tuesdays at St John's (Sanctuary) Wednesdays at St Saviour's (Library) led by Cricket, who is a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Starts Jan 14/15, and goes until Lent.   This Sunday's Bulletins! Leave in the front pew (St John's) or the back pew (St Saviour's) Deadline: Jan 18th! EVERYTHING welcome: soaps, deodorant, dental care and skin care, etc.   Please pray for all those affected by the raging fires in Los Angeles, for people and wildlife and for those helping with firefighting, evacuations, and the distribution of food & water.  Join Church of Our Father on Saturday, January 18th at 2PM for a matinee screening of The Fire of '47. This Bar Harbor Historical Society documentary, graciously lent to them by Sue Blaisdell, stars Ada Hatch, Eleanor Raynes, and many other local eyewitnesses. Come hear their stories for yourself!
