The Westside Food Pantry Recital Series continues the celebration of the 25th year of the Westside Food Pantry—The Kelly Town Five will perform for the Westside Food Pantry on
Saturday, February 6th at 6:30 at St John the Divine followed by a reception. Jim Vekasi, Fred Benson, Beth Herrick, Amy Kurman and Rick Barter sing and play a variety of musical genres ranging from traditional folk to early 20th century jazz/popular songs, to contemporary pop/country music and a few original songs. This will be a LIVELY evening! Suggested donation--$10--ALL PROCEEDS go the Westside Food Pantry. FMI contact Susan Buell-244-8061
St. Saviour:
FREE Movie and BYO lunch, the first Saturday of February, March and April at 12 noon in the Rectory Common Library! Contact Carmen Greene at 288-2739 with any movie suggestions. Bring a snack or lunch of your choice, settle into our comfy warm room and enjoy the fun and fellowship of friends and neighbors! ALL are welcome… come, and bring a friend!

Seeking light in darkness: coping with grief in the holiday season. Michelle Gurtler and Pastor Rob Benson welcome those coping with loss (whether recent or not) to an informal tea and open discussion. Explore ways to navigate the shoals of grief on Sunday, January 31st at 4:00 pm at the Bar Harbor Congregational Church. All are welcome.
COFFEE’S ON! The Maine Sea Coast Mission cordially invites all MDI Senior Citizens to join them for Coffee, Conversation and Music the first and thirds Tuesdays of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Colket Center, 127 West Street, Bar Harbor.
Relay For Life is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, raising millions of dollars every year in the fight against cancer. At Relay For Life events across the world we honor survivors and caregivers, remember those lost to the disease, and make a pledge to fight back against cancer. The Relay For Life of Hancock County will hold a kickoff event on Friday, January 29th from 6:00-7:30pm at the Elks Lodge, located at 317 High Street in Ellsworth. Anyone interested in learning more about Relay For Life are invited to attend. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the Relay For Life movement, ask questions, and start or join a team. Light refreshments will be provided.
