The Mystery Questionnaire
St.
John’s received one Stewardship questionnaire with no name on it -- the person checked off interest in Flower Committee, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, and Pastoral Care Committee.  Working with the PCC, I've gotten in touch with the others who signed up to help -- would like to know who else did --as I'm sure the Flower Committee and Fr. Tim would like to know also. (Joan Bromage)

Thanks received:

This morning Michele received a phone call from Tim Carr, a senior at General Theological Seminary, thanking St. John’s for our financial contributions. Tim is from the Diocese of Newark and attends General.

This morning Tim talked with a woman who brought in a contribution for the discretionary fund. She had received help in the past from St. John’s and was now able to donate so others can receive financial assistance in the future.

101 REASONS TO BE EPISCOPALIAN

One of the perks of membership in our parish is the exercise. My heart rate elevates with all the standing, kneeling, processing, bowing, passing the peace, reciting, crossing one’s self and singing. Fortunately there is some time for a pulse check during the sermon and readings.

Lu Sweeney, Diocese of California

Hancock County Medical Mission: (February 12) Arrived safely in Quito at 2 AM instead of 11 PM.  Delayed by a rainstorm and fog, circled QTO and then had to land in Guayaquil on the coast to refuel.  Quito cleared by then and we landed with all luggage and med bags but they're a bit wet.  Arrived at Hotel La Carolina 3:30 AM, breakfast they tell us will be at 10, just for us.  Bus trip sometime tomorrow to Salcedo, three hours south. That is all.  Thanks for your prayers. Ted  Spurling
