ST. JOHN'S EVENTS & NEWS

Church Office Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30-2:30.

The Best Ever Spaghetti Dinner, held at the S.W. Harbor Congregational Church on the High Road, will benefit the Westside Food Pantry and will be on Saturday, April 5th from 4:30-7:00p.m. The cost is $5.00 for adults; $3.00 for children 12 and older and no more than $15.00 for a family. Children under 12 are free!

Westside Food Pantry: April 6th and April 20th from noon to 2:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Harbor House.

Blood Drive: The American Red Cross is having a blood drive at Birch Bay Village on Friday, April 11th from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Mystical and Miraculous will be presented by Ezra Halkett on Saturday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. in the MDI High School theatre.

Women: On Monday, April 14th at 7:00 p.m., you are invited to gather in the undercroft to share gardening stories and tips and have a great time together. For information, call Karen (244-5267), Chloe (244-4436) or Ida (244-7266).

Acadia Region Coalition (ARC): Tuesday, April 15th at 7:00 p.m. at St. John's Church. This will be a meeting of the delegates from the various congregations to set up a governing plan and elect officers.

Consecration of Bishop Coadjutor Stephen Lane: Saturday, May 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke, Portland. If you wish to attend on May 3rd, call the church office to reserve your tickets by April 15th. Our parish may reserve up to nine seats. In the event that we have more requests than available seats, a lottery will determine the disposition of our allotted tickets.
