Northeast Harbor Fire: A structure fire and resulting explosion in the local village of Northeast Harbor has destroyed three buildings on Main Street: Colonel's Bakery, Wingspread Gallery, and the Joy Building. Several young people from Europe were living above one of the buildings and have lost ALL their belongings. If you would like to help, please bring toiletries (soap, shampoo, razors, lotion, tooth brushes/paste, etc.); towels; sandals; phone cards to St. John’s Church (back pew). R. Gurney which centers on just two characters, Melissa Gardner (Chloe) and Andrew Makepiece Ladd III (Phil). Using the epistolary form sometimes found in novels, they sit side by side at tables and read the correspondence - in which they discuss their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, victories and defeats - that has passed between them throughout their separated lives. It is only at the sad ending that they realize they were really love letters all along.
