The Parish will host a party for Richard and Pamela after the 10:00 a.m. service on February 21st when we will give Fr. Tardiff a gift and celebrate his ministry here. You are invited to contribute to that gift through a designated contribution marked “Tardiff Gift.”

We will observe Theological Education Sunday on February 7.  We encourage your contributions to a special offering to be divided between Church Divinity School of the Pacific and Bangor Theological Seminary.  We'll have on hand information about each of the seminaries.  (Please make checks payable to St. Andrew & St. John, with "theological education" in the memo line.)

 

 

MARDI GRAS MADNESS-- the last fling before Lent

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper – February 16th

Gather in the nave at 5:30 for fellowship and Samba music by Sambingo.

Pancakes at 6:00—food by the men of the parish and music by Jim Vekasi, Fred Benson and friends.

Make reservations on the sign-up sheet in the undercroft or call Michele at the church office 244-3229 by noon Monday, February 15th

St. Saviour’s Parish is hosting a Community Valentine Pot Luck Dinner on Friday, February 12.  All donations will go to St. Saviour’s MDI Fire Fund, which benefits fire victims on Mt. Desert Island.  Bring your family, friends, neighbors and a dish to share.  Beverages will be provided.  The dinner will be at the church, 41 Mt. Desert Street Bar Harbor, from 5 to7 pm in the Parish Hall.  All are welcome!

 

Dreams: A Window to the Soul.  A dream group will meet on February 26 and 27 at the Alcyon Retreat Center in Seal Cove.  Come learn about your own dreams as a pathway to the inner life.  The discussion will be facilitated by William Bigelow, a 4th year candidate at the Boston C.
