From the Diocese of Maine{Diocese of Maine}

As a Parish of the Diocese of Maine, we are part of a church family that extends from Kittery to Fort Kent, and connects us to the rest of the Episcopal Church and the worldwide Anglican Communion.  We share ministry with our Bishop and with every worshipping community.
If you are not subscribed to the Diocesan twice monthly email newsletter, the DioLog, please click [here] to subscribe.  If you are subscribed, don't forget to open it and read it every time!  There is a lot going on in every corner of the Diocese, and you wouldn't want to miss anything!

at St. Saviour:

Summer Organ Series will be held on Fridays in August from 12:15-1:00.  The church features a 27-rank Visser-Rowland tracker organ which is used in worship services each week as well as to support community choral and instrumental performances.

The schedule for the 2017 recital series is as follows:
August 18: Ray Cornils
August 25: Julia Morris-Myers

The Summer Organ Series is made possible by the generous support of St. Saviour's Friends of Music. Admission to the recitals is by donation and a reception will follow to meet the artists. Community

Harbor House Community Service Center: Join us on Monday, August 21, at 6:00 pm at the Acadia Repertory Theatre for a special performance of "Love Letters" starring Chloe Hatcher and Ephron Catlin. Love Letters is the story of Andrew Makepeace Ladd III (Catlin) and Melissa Gardner (Hatcher), two young people from similar backgrounds who take very different paths in life. Despite leading lives which should not intersect, they can't let go of each other throughout their 50 year friendship despite their marriages and families with other people.

Cost is $20 per ticket. All proceeds benefit the Harbor House Community Service Center. Tickets can be purchased at Harbor House or at the box office at the Acadia Repertory Theatre. Contact Diana or Suzanne at 244-3713 for more information.
