Preparing for Palm Sunday - Making Palm Crosses. You are invited to join a group that will gather on Saturday morning April 12th at 9 am in St. Saviour’s Parish Hall to prepare for Palm Sunday. We can use many hands, no experience necessary, in making palm crosses for our parish families and friends. We also support Jack Drake's ministry at Sonogee by supplying enough for the residents there. We welcome you and any amount of time you can give. Best Spaghetti Dinner Ever, April 12th, 5-7 at the Southwest Harbor Congregational Church. Proceeds will go to the Westside Food Pantry.
The Evensong singers, a ministry of Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County, are offering a friend raising concert on Friday, April 25th at the Somesville Union Meeting House at 7pm. This is a rare opportunity to hear, in public, what we do. Our work is to bring comfort to Hospice patients and their families. Our musical offerings are varied, ranging from joyful to solemn, as we attempt to suit the particular needs of those for whom we sing. Please come!
