The American Red Cross is having a Blood Drive in our area.  The drive will be held January 27th from 11:00 to 4:00 at the College of the Atlantic, 105 Eden Street, Bar Harbor.  All presenting donors receive a coupon for one pound of Dunkin Donuts Coffee.

 

Annual Meeting: Sunday, January 31st following the 10:00 service.

Help for Haiti Fund Raising Supper: Saturday, January 30th, 5:00 p.m. until the food runs out (homemade baked beans, chili, casseroles, salad, bread, beverages and desserts) at the Somesville Church Parish House. 100% of donations will go directly to relief efforts in Haiti. COA presents “The Great Cranberry Island Portrait Project 2009”, at the Ethel H. Blum Gallery from January 18-February 12. Janet Best Badger is the artist and Becky Buyers-Basso the author of these portraits and stories from the Cranberry Island Community. Gallery talk, January 28th at 4:00.
