Training for Lectors, Acolytes, and Chalice Bearers: Wednesday, December 9th at 4:00 p.m.; repeated Saturday, December 12th at 9:00 a.m. in the Nave. Standards and procedures for these important ministries will be reviewed. New and veteran lay ministers are encouraged to attend one of these sessions. Organ Recital: Friday, December 11 at 12:15, Julia Morris-Myers will be giving her annual organ recital of Music for Advent and Christmas at St. Saviour’s Parish. Tenor Jay Emlen will be joining her in a number of selections, including the famous Comfort Ye from Messiah. Come and bring your friends and neighbors!
Gift cards suitable for Christmas gifts, hostess gifts, and any other giving are available again this fall for a $10 donation to the Westside Food Pantry. This year they will feature small original watercolor designs on the envelopes. Cards may be purchased at the church office or by calling Cass Wright at 244-5459.
